Many Samsung employees are suffering from cancer will get 94 lac

South Korean giant Samsung Electronics apologized to its employees and their families who suffered from cancer during their semiconductor factory work. Kim Ki-Nam, vice president of the company said, "We apologize to those employees and their families who have suffered cancer."

He said, 'We had failed to properly manage health risks in our semiconductor and LCD factories.' Samsung Electronics is the world's largest mobile phone and chip maker. It is worth noting that nearly 240 employees working in Samsung's semiconductor and display factory were sick during work. As per report 80 people out of them has been died.

Employees suffer from 16 types of cancers

These employees are suffering from 16 types of cancer. Some of these children have also suffered such diseases. This matter is related to 1984 and it was first disclosed in 2007. According to groups running the campaign against this, in the beginning of this month, the company has announced a compensation policy in this regard. According to this policy, Samsung will pay compensation of 15 million von (about Rs 94 lakh) to every victim employee.

Compensation on accident in India, under these circumstances

Workers Compensation Act of 1924, the worker has the right to get compensation under these circumstances:

1- On injury during an accident during duty

2- On accident while driving a factory

3- On the accident when the employer goes out of work

4- Employees get sick from the nature of work in the factory

5- If the illness is two years after leaving the work, then the employee is not entitled to compensation

6- If the employee dies due to accident or illness then his dependent will get compensation
